The Set for Life Program
Imagine the peace of mind of your dog’s training being done the fastest, most effective and enjoyable way… perfect for your busy life, without worrying about the hardest part – the very beginning of the training.
You know that having a well-trained dog means more freedom for you AND your dog, and so much less stress and frustration in your day. A few things we can work are:
- Coming when called amongst distractions
- Jumping
- Dragging you along during walks
- Overexcited friendliness with new people
- Chewing and stealing stuff
- Play biting and impulse control
This Board & Train program will get you there with less effort in the beginning. Your dog will come stay with us so that they are already so much farther along when we start training you. When we bring your dog home, we’ll start teaching you everything you need to know to maintain and continue your dog’s new skills.
You don’t even have to worry about your dog’s training slipping over time because of our Lifetime Support Guarantee. If you need a refresher on what we worked on, we’ll get together and help you take care of it.
This program includes:
- Typically a 3 week stay for your dog in your trainer’s home
- Private lessons for life – never worry about your dog’s training slipping over time!
- Lifetime Support Guarantee with email and Zoom calls PLUS Lifetime Video Review
One lesson teaching Coco to stay, release, come, retrieve, drop it, and to play without nipping at hands.
Because we only take on one dog at a time, they are treated as if they are one of the family with minimal crate time and plenty of affection during their stay.
Is this program right for your dog?
Puppies We affectionately call this our “adorable piranha” package. Puppies have critical socialization periods and between 8 and 14 weeks old when their minds are little sponges soaking up the world! They need to be exposed daily to environments we want them to normalize otherwise they may struggle with reactivity as adults. Click for more info from the AVSAB, and why we accept puppies as young as 8 weeks old into our training program.
Adults with a bit of over-excitability and “selective hearing” issues are afforded several daily lessons to provide consistency. We can also help bring out confidence in our more wary and shy companions.
Let’s work together!
Riverside is here for both of you.
